MSN Big Brother BlogSeptember 02 After The FinalThe weekend aftershow gossip... So Brian came out on top, but what happened after the final and have there been tears and tantrums over the weekend? Brian seems to have his head screwed on when it comes to the prize money. "I'm not going to spend it. I'll give it to my mum to keep safe. You need money later on when you have kids and stuff and if I spend it now when I'm twenty odd, when I'm thirty and wanna get married and have kids, I wont have any bloody money will I!" Well said Brian! Rumour has it that all of the housemates were completely blitzed at the aftershow party. It seems the ale didn't agree with some of them, as Ziggy is supposed to have kissed a sexy blonde lass in front of Chanelle! An insider said it was a peck on the cheek that progressed into something else??? What ever that means! By all accounts Chanelle was not impressed and after a few harsh words, she hopped into a cab. Some reports said that Ziggy left to try and persuade her to return, but from what I hear nobody saw her after that. If Ziggy did have to make up with Chanelle, I think it's the least of his problems... Today it's rumoured that he said the 'N' word in the house. Allegedly, Ziggy was called to the diary room and warned that he would be evicted if it happened again. As Ziggy was singing the lyrics of a song and not refering to an individual, he wasn't ejected. None of the footage was aired on TV. Controversy! At the press conference Amanda agreed to join Brian on a date. He asked her out (for a trip to Maccy D's) and she accepted, "ohhh, I'm loving it!" Do you think they're after an advertising contract or what? He-he... As normal, the other housemates have received limited press. The interest always lies with the front runners, but I'm interested to see what happens at the reunion party this afternoon. It's just started and I notice that Chanelle isn't sat with the Ziggster? I haven't spotted her yet? Is she a no-show? That would really fuel some rumours (or maybe she's just running late). As always, I'll blog as I go... The reunion party... Chanelle has appeared like magic and as always she looks stunning. Ziggy is interviewed with Liam and he said that the final was overwhelming. Dermot asks why he was so sullen when he left. "I was very nervous and I was concerned about my perception in the outside world. I was really happy when I came out though." He is asked about Chanelle, but there is no mention of the mysterious blonde. "We haven't had much time together since we left, but we're going to have a drink today (he waves at her) and we'll see what happens." Ziggy doesn't think there's any chance of Northern Line reuniting. "We didn't hit it back then, so I don't think we would hit it now." I have to say, I'm glad! Dermot turns to Liam and asks about his experience, "I had an absolute blast. Being here made me feel relaxed, there was no competitiveness or anything." He confirms that there's been no developments on the 'love front' YET, but he's going to return to tree surgery after enjoying the post-Big Brother frenzy. Personally, I think you should be modelling big guy! Sorry... I lost the plot then, they were showing the best bits and I cracked up. How funny is that clip of Sam and the megaphone. She whacks the megaphone with her toothbrush and toothpaste splatters all over her face. Classic! Twin Time! No surprise, the twins say they loved their experience. There's a boring Q and A, but what IS interesting is when Dermot asks about a future single release. Both of them say nothing and I reckon it's on the cards. They do say that they'd love to do Jingle Bell Rock! Could the twins give Simon Cowell's X-factor winner a run for their money? GO ON GIRLS... I DARE YA TO DO IT! How funny would that be? Especially when it's rumoured that Simon wants Dermot to leave BBLB permanently! Brian's up next and he's smiling from ear to ear as always. Dermot surprises him with well wishes from his favourite foxy ladies. He's gobsmacked to see Girls Aloud, Bianca Gascgoine, Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes from Hollyoaks), Sky from Neighbours and the lushious Shannon Elizabeth (Nadia from American Pie). They all blow him kisses, wish him luck and tell him just how much they love him! Shannon Elizabeth says, "It's a shame that you're into Amanda, I'm single!" He's literally bouncing in his chair, he can't believe his luck! It gets even better when Dermot reveals that Hollyoaks have agreed to have him on the show as an extra. Brian goes ballistic! Woohoo! I'm very suspicious that there was no interview with Ziggy and Chanelle. It's the biggest love story of the show! They still aren't sat together or anything, there's definately something going on. Finally Dermot leads the housemates to the garden. He asks what item would they love to have had and Carole shouts for a washing machine. Dermot removes a secret panel and all is revealed - A spanking new washing machine! The housemates can't believe it! Wouldn't you just be gutted? Poor Carole nearly broke her back washing clothes in the bath. As the housemates curse Big Brother, I can't think of a better way to end the series. Bring on Big Brother 9! From all of your comments on this blog, it's gonna be between Samanda and Brian to win. HOWEVER... Over the last few days there have been a huge amount of comments for Ziggy and Liam to win. What do you think? Personally, I'll be happy if Brian, Samanda or Liam win. They all deserve it! HERE WE GO! Davina introduces the catch up footage... (The first vote count is in two minutes so get calling!) The housemates made their toasts at last night's final dinner (see post below). Sam thanked everyone for making it "dead, dead good" in the house. Liam complimented everyone. "Brian you have been my best pal in here. Sam and Amanda, you're both great. Ziggy you're mint, Jonty you're cracking and Carole you're an a**e. No, not really. I've told you loads of times in this house that you have made my time really enjoyable." OMG - Ziggy's had the worst haircut! But he thanks everyone too... Take a look at the post below for Carole's poem. All the housemates are out in the garden and as they chat, they get more and more emotional. Liam bursts into tears, then Amanda and as Brian consoles his sweetheart he weeps too. Bless em, bless em all! Davina introduces the ex-housemates. The crowd cheer, well apart from when Charley is introduced (especially when she stands up and starts posing!) The biggest cheer by far is for Tracey. Davina misses a few people out and she quickly corrects herself. It's okay though, it was only Chanelle and Gerry and they both get rapturous applause. Chanelle's face was a picture when Charley was introduced, did you see it? The housemate in sixth place is... JONTY! In fifth place is CAROLE! So who's out next? They both leave to cheers and I'm chuffed. Carole may have been a bit controlling and Jonty a little weird and very naked, but they deserve a cheer after making it to the end. They're lapping it up too! Carole is running around waving, but Jonty looks a little starstruck. He plays with Munkitty Tunkitty and smiles - Better now Jonty? Good. THE INTERVIEW: Jonty is pleased to make it to the end. "I thought I would last one week, so thank you". Davina asks Jonty about his wind and Jonty cackles. "It was a real gas being in that house". Davina points out that sometimes his farting was a reason for people to nominate him. But Jonty isn't phased, in fact he just giggles. Davina asks about his bears and Jonty says that Munkitty Tunkitty has helped him a lot. The crowd show their appreciation for the bear and Davina agrees. She shows Jonty his best bits and says "spank you very much!" Bye Jonty - You were strangely frightening and fun, all at the same time! You know what, I hope Carole's interview doesn't end up like Nikki Graham's last year. I've got a horrible feeling that she could end up being booed now she's alone... We shall have to see. Thankfully, the crowd are kind. Carole said, "I never thought I would make it this far". She told Davina she isn't obsessed with cleaning at home, her compulsion in the house was from nothing but boredom. She explains that looking after people is all she's ever done (she's worked in care and children's homes) - the crowd cheer. Davina tells Carole she was quite controlling and Carole admits it's true. "But if you leave things in that house, everything goes mad. We had the shower overflow three times and stuff." NICE! Carole wants Brian to win and when she's asked what she has learned she admits she needs to be less bossy. "I can let other people do things, I can." Davina agrees with me and tells Carole she should wear her hair down. As she watches her best bits she has a huge smile and you can see the old Carole rising from the flames - fly Carole, FLY! Take care Cazza, fingers crossed you'll make a ton of cash and give Kim and Aggie a run for there money. Someone give this woman a cleaning show! In fourth place is... ZIGGY! The crowd are chanting for Brian and the housemates can hear it. Liam says, "it's you Brian, it's you!" Ziggy says his goodbyes and admits "I can't help feeling nervous". This guy was born to wear a suit! He climbs the stairs and leaves to cheers (but there are some boos in there...) I have to say he doesn't look very happy! The photographers ask him to smile and he replies, "I'm very nervous." Bless him, he's kacking his pants! Never mind Ziggy, you could be getting jiggy tonight (I'm so sorry for that... Davina said it first and I just couldn't help myself!) I tell you what, I'm gutted. I wanted to see him spot Chanelle! THE INTERVIEW: Ziggy says it's huge to be fourth and he didn't think he would make it past the first week. The crowd cheers! Davina advises that 'Chiggy' has become a household name, he can't believe it. He tells the crowd that Chanelle is gorgeous and he hopes they agree - The crowd goes nuts! He watches the footage of him and Chanelle and he's teary, Chanelle is grinning from ear to ear. Davina asks why it went wrong? "Sometimes people said things and I listened. I was paranoid, I handled it wrong". He looks up to Chanelle in the stand, "I wish she had stayed because I think she would still be there." It's cute and all that, but pass the bucket! Davina asks the $64,000 question... Did you have sexual relations? Ziggy says, "NO! We had a kiss and a cuddle." Davina pushes a little more... But do you want to get jiggy? "I would love to have some sexy time, but only if she accepts." Davina asks Chanelle if she would ike to give it a go, but Chanelle is obviously embarrassed. After deliberation with the crowd, Chanelle nods! YAY!!! Woohoo! Romance lives! When asked about his other relationships, Ziggy tells Davina that he loves Carole. "She was like a mother figure to me." I have to say Ziggy's best bits really show the extent of his journey. The guy's been through the mill and I hope him and Chanelle make a fortune. Go on guys, milk the press for everything you can get! (Sorry, but I'm a realist!) I can't believe they haven't shown them both reunited... Who is producing this thing? Get the camera over there! Nope, nothing - They're too busy fiming Davina walking. Oooh - How exciting. NOT! In third place is... LIAM! Always the gent, Liam says "well done all of you, you have been mint". Then he drops down to reality, takes a deep breath and says "Bloody Hell!" There's an emotional rollercoater for you (in all of five seconds!) Liam shakes it off and continues to compliment his friends... "I couldn't think of anyone better to be here with". The twins and Brian give him a cheer. Samanda is so excited, they scream blue murder and Brian has his head in his hands. All he can say is, "All my days! All my days!" If the crowd is anything to go by, they're all chanting for Brian. This could be his baby! But who do you think will win? Back at 10pm... I'm back! I hope they give Liam his prize money during the interview, don't you? Davina announces that the BB9 auditions start in November (see, I told you didn't I). If you didn't believe me, believe Davina. Woohoo! That's me back here next year, how about you? Liam is dressed to impress (and looks pretty yummy, I must say!) He says his goodbyes and climbs the stairs. You know he's gonna get massive cheers, he has to! This guy has done no wrong - he's an absolute gent! The crowd are chanting his name and cheering like crazy, he's chuffed to bits. The noise is unbelievable! Liam laughs at a sign that says 'LIAM WILL YOU TRIM MY BUSH!' Classic! THE INTERVIEW: Liam thanks everyone for their support and Davina says she didn't hear one boo. Liam relives winning the £100,000 and he's obviously touched. Davina asks him how it felt? "I was there minding my own business, I was new and I thought, what, a hundred grand. I don't even have a hundred quid. I had visions of everyone kicking me out the next week". He's going to spend the money on his family. Davina asks about his 'wings of steel' and Liam says it was cheesy but it worked. When asked about Amy, Liam smiles "Amy is a grand lass, but girlfriends in general are just too much hard work for me". He tells Davina that the twins are grand and he has all the time in the world for Brian. He hopes they all keep in touch. Davina wonders what he's learned and he admits, "I've learned I can be a bit insensitive at times and I've learned to put a positive spin on things". As Liam watches his best bits, it's easy to see why he won the £100,000. He stood up to Charley, was supportive, caring, funny and kind. He's like Ace Rimmer - What a guy! THE FINAL TWO: The winner of Big Brother 2007 is... BRIAN!!! Bless him! He bursts into tears and tells the twins, "All my days, you two should have won!" The twins give him a huge hug and leave the house to rapturous applause! I'm glad Brian won, I know the twins will make a fortune anyway - They're fab! The twins can't stop jumping and screaming! Davina seems pleased that Brian has won, but the twins are infectious. I have to laugh when she says, "the twins are your runners up and that's dead, dead good, so no need for a triple cringe!" Too funny! THE INTERVIEW: The twins can't stop giggling and screaming. They chant for Brian. "We love Brian so much. we're so pleased one hundred percent, one hundred, one hundred!" The twins discover that they never received ONE nomination, "for real?" Yes girls, for real! They hear the other housemates compliment them and they're chuffed. Davina asks if they think they could've done it alone, "never, never ever". Amanda is asked about Brian and Amanda says he's "so cute". She admits that after spending more and more time with Brian over the last few days, she's closer to him now. Their favourite time was becoming one housemate and they loved spending time in the garden with Brian and Liam. Davina wonders if they feel more intelligent now, as they were so concerned about looking like dumb blondes. They scream and Sam says, "cringe! Oh, I know what cous-cous is now. It's mushed up rice". Davina says, "not quite right, but close enough". As they watch their best bits, I can't help smiling. Seeing them with their colanders on their heads, screaming that they're psychopathic instead of telepathic is genius! Thanks girlies! It's been a great summer! THE WINNER: Brian received a massive 60.3% of the vote! He jumps up and down as he hears the crowd chanting. Brian's just chuffed to be talking to Davina! He says goodbye to the house and climbs the stairs. The cheers are immense! The fireworks erupt and Brian falls to the floor. He reaches the stage and the first thing he does is shake hands with members the crowd. He thanks everyone he greets, what a star! This guy is gonna keep his feet firmly on the ground...
Brian says this is the best day of his life, he loves this show! "I don't know how I did it". Davina knows how, "it's because you're lovely!" She asks him if he had a game plan? "No, I love the show. I love things that are real, people who are real and this is real". He can't wait to see the show back and Davina reminds him that he wins at the end. He's made up! Davina introduces the footage of him and Amanda and he cringes, "Oh don't!" He's obviously embarrassed. Davina reminds him that he said, "if I made love to Amanda, angels would come down and harps would play". He said it was 'pucka' to kiss her, but he understood why she wanted to be friends. Davina tells him that Amanda has admitted she likes him in a special way and he shys away. Bless! He can't believe he said about the angels, "my mates are gonna have me in the pub for that". Brian said he only had trouble in the house when Charley was in a mood and sometimes with Carole, "I was upset when she wouldn't let me eat. But I love Carole, Mamma Caz, Go on Mamma Caz!" Davina asks about Brians interest in cosmic ordering. Did you ask the universe could you win Big Brother? "No, I asked for a great adventure this summer and I got it!" She also wonders what he's going to do with the prize money? "I'll give it to my mum to look after". Brian's favourite part of the show was the caravan of love (obviously) and he can't restrain himself when Davina shows his best bits. CONGRATULATIONS BRIAN - AS AN AVID FAN AND A GENUINE GUY, YOU REALLY DESERVE IT! I've loved this years show! I hope you've enjoyed the blog guys. The housemates squealed when all of a sudden a familiar Geordie voice rang throughout the house... "Day 98 in the Big Brother house... Brian and Amanda are in the caravan (they were!) Carole is in the bedroom (she was!) Ziggy and Liam are sleeping in the bedroom (they both waved).
Correction... Ziggy and Liam were sleeping in the bedroom... And Jonty and Sam are in the pool!" The housemates cheered and Carole laughed as she pointed out it was none-other than Marcus Bentley. The voice of Big Brother! Marcus invited them to play a game of Big Brother says, so they all ran out into the garden to join in. Jonty and Brian were 'out' in seconds, but the others lasted until the end. Even Marcus couldn't help laughing at them all. He had them hopping, rolling about and scratching thier own armpits like little monkeys. During the game, he asked the housemates "what is your favourite Big Brother memory?" Jonty thought that it was being 'Big Jonty' because he got to ask lots of questions. Ziggy said it was when Molly came in. Mmm... He chose his dog over Chanelle, interesting eh? The twins favourite moment was becoming one housemate and Liam said "I choose now. You getting us to do this game!" It was fun wasn't it Liam! More soon... Selena x LIVE BLOG TONIGHT AT 8.30 JOIN ME THEN FOR THE EVICTION! WHO WINS? Morning Glory(Scroll down to the post below to make your final predictions x) The housemates woke this morning to the thumping bass of the Big Brother theme tune. They bounced around the bedroom and they couldn't stop smiling. Ziggy congratulated everyone, "happy Friday everyone. We get to see everyone we've missed tonight". Liam agreed, "congratulations everyone" and Brian screamed "it's Friday dude. Woohoo!" I'm not surprised that they're in fine fettle this morning, as last nights dinner was a raging success. They polished off a three course meal (with wine) and took turns making their speeches. Carole even tried her hand at poetry, though I'm not sure if that's what I'd call it... Well Jonty, Mr Hanky Spanky has gone a long long way And Sam, you've been great, and defo you'll be going a long way Liam's been the house mate, by far the most macho man But Bri, the bad boy, has walked a million miles And will walk a million more He's got lots and lots of smiles For everyone, I'm sure He's a heart of gold, and so I'm told The biggest todger of them all! And even learned to do a waltz At our lovely ball Amanda's full of beauty We won't 'cringe', no, no we won't Because we'll see you out doing your stuff, saying: Hey Carole - hey what? Introduce yourself - no way Introduce yourself - okay I'm Carole, I'm cool I do aerobics in the pool But you've made me smile every day And your twin the same way And Ziggy, well, what can I say? Handsome as can be With that look, we could write a book On the romance, the ups and downs The ins and outs, the roundabouts, The argy-bargies, but what can I say? You've made it all the way And no one can take that from you So good luck everyone, raise a glass We've had a great time, and hopefully... this is the beginning of a new chapter. Selena x QUESTIONS ANSWERED: For Tara, Louise, Michelle, Steve, Pete01 and all the other people who have emailed me to ask if Big Brother 9 will be scrapped, IT WONT! Big Brother 9 is going ahead. The show is NOT being cancelled. I know for a fact that the Big Brother 9 auditions start on the 24th of November 2007, so there will be a ninth series and many more as far as I'm aware. For those of you who asked why Celebrity Big Brother has been shelved for 2008, I can only suggest that you contact Channel 4. For all who wanted to complain about this, I can only suggest you do the same. Channel 4 has decided to 'rest' the show next year, so I guess the best thing to do is let them know if you want to see it.
